Rooftop 220 Wedding in Downtown Tampa

What an AMAZING way to start my 2019 wedding season!!! I typically don’t have January weddings…but I LOVE when I do because it gives me something to look forward to during what is normally a very slow month of shooting!! Morgan and Jordany actually booked me for their wedding day over over a year ago. And I have been SO excited every since our initial phone calls back then!

When I showed up to photograph this day and the weather was PERFECT for Florida in January. It was breezy and spring like temperatures, the sun was shining and the light was BEAUTIFUL. The energy from the very beginning of the day was so contagiously joyful. The bridesmaids, family and every single guest were just bubbly with anticipation for Morgan and Jordany to FINALLY be husband and wife. It was wonderful in every single way!!! I truly felt so lucky to witness it and capture the joy as it unfolded.

One of my FAVORITE parts of the day was their first look they shared! Jordany was SO nervous and excited to see his bride it was sweet! I always tell my brides that this moment is for them as a couple and I stay back and let it unfold naturally! I tell brides to walk up behind their husband to be and call their name when they are ready for them to turn around. When Morgan told Jordany to turn around, his reaction was so pure and amazing. He couldn’t even turn around to look at her for at least another minute or two!!!

Morgan and Jordany: Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for including me in your special day! It was a joy to witness and work with you both – and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start out my year than with you two!
