The Littell family’s summer family photo session was the perfect blend of connection, play, and timeless beauty, and it took place during a stunning sunset beach session here in Tampa.

A Relaxed Summer Family Session on the Beach

We met at the beach just as the sun began its slow descent toward the horizon. The light was absolutely beautiful — warm, glowing, and flattering. Creating that dreamy look so many families love in their photos. Tall beach grass swayed in the breeze, adding texture and a natural, coastal feel that framed the Littell family perfectly.

One of my favorite things about beach family sessions is how much freedom they allow. There’s room to move, explore, and interact naturally, which makes the images feel genuine and full of life.

Letting Wyatt Be a Little Boy

For this session, we truly leaned into letting Wyatt just be a little boy. He ran through the sand, played near the beach grass, laughed freely, and had moments of quiet curiosity. And those in-between moments are where the magic really happens.

Instead of stiff posing, we focused on connection and play. The result was a gallery full of joyful expressions, real smiles, and heartfelt interactions that reflect this season of their family beautifully.

Including Baby Brother Drew

Baby brother Drew joined the session and was absolutely precious. From being snuggled close to mom and dad to sweet sibling moments with Wyatt, Drew added such tenderness to the evening. Capturing both playful energy and soft, loving moments is one of the things I love most about family photography — and this session had plenty of both.
