Palmetto Riverside Bed and Breakfast Wedding in Palmetto, Florida

Brace yourself…this is a LONG post. It was SO hard to narrow down!!!!

When I had my first consultation with Amy and Derek, I just knew they were the most genuine couple. I was overjoyed when they chose me to be their wedding photographer for their fall wedding at the gorgeous Palmetto Riverside Bed and Breakfast in Palmetto, Florida.

Working with Amy and Derek from the beginning was a treat. I have never had a groom so involved in the pre-wedding planning, and it was honestly SO nice to be conversing and forming a relationship with not just the bride, but also the groom before the wedding.

When I arrived at their wedding location I was floored at how beautiful it was, even though I have been there time and time again, it still amazes me!!

One of the biggest themes of the day was how Amy and Derek have surrounded themselves with friends who adore them. Amy’s bridesmaids were so attentive, making sure that every detail was perfect and that Amy had everything that she needed – if the planning team with Kelly Kennedy Weddings hadn’t already taken care of it! Derek’s groomsmen had me cracking up, and even with the jokes, his best man spoke for everyone when he shared his gratefulness for Derek’s impact on their lives.

I love when the wedding day is planned with specific priorities in mind and space to experience the day as it happens. We had plenty of time for Amy and Derek to be fully present for their ceremony, portraits, cocktail, and the reception! All while still sneaking out for a few stunning portraits at golden hour!

Oh, the portraits!!!! I’ll let the images speak for themselves but just wow.
