One-on-One Mentoring Session with Tristen

I had the privilege of hosting the beautiful Tristen for a one-on-one mentoring session! I just LOVE one-on-ones!! They are SO much fun and I can’t imagine a better way to spend an afternoon than sharing coffee + talking all things photography! Ashley is in the beginning stages of kick-starting her journey with photography, and let me tell you, she is SO talented and so driven!! I cannot wait to see where her love for photography takes her!

Ashley wanted to focus on improving her skills with shooting in manual + editing as well as mastering posing + lighting (some of my favorite things to teach!!) So, we spent a couple of hours sharing coffee out of an adorable cup that she gifted me, while doing a walk-through of basic editing concepts, then we headed out for the shooting portion to work on posing and lighting! Melissa and Jon were our models for the day and they did such an AMAZING job working and so patient!! Props to them both (and they’re just ADORABLE!)
