Surprise Proposal at the Tampa Bay Yacht & Country Club in South Tampa

These are the exact moments I live for. The moments where I am reminded just how truly special my career and talent are. The moments where I am LITERALLY photographing the SECOND someones life is completely changing.

Shane reached out to me before October even rolled around with the exact date and place he wanted to propose to his amazing girlfriend, Shannon. Just having a man even think about having the moment captured makes me giddy, because that is how you know he TRULY wants this to be as perfect as possible! He had all the details covered.

I scoped out the location (Tampa Bay Yacht & Country Club) pre-proposal day JUST to make sure I knew exactly how this was going to go (you only get one chance, ya know? haha!). Then the big day came! Shane was nervous as soon as the day started but we sorted out ALL the details, down to just how far down on the pier they would stroll, and what side she should be walking next to him on. He made eye contact with me, gave one of those inconspicuous head scratches and he started asking Shannon to slow down and “come back here for a second.” She was just making her way down the pier, she didnt know any better LOL. She turned around and there he was, the love of her life asking her to be his wife!!!!!!!!

It was the SWEETEST moment and we absolutely could not of asked for a better evening! The air was light and breezy, the sky was cloudless and bright blue, and the sunset was as golden as ever! After the proposal we spent some time taking some portraits (because you just have to have the perfect one to announce YOU’RE ENGAGED).

I am absolutely so excited for the both of you, and hope your new season of life in Texas, TOGETHER is amazing!!!!! <3 <3
