Wow! Brittany and Jimmy’s wedding this pas weekend at the Don Cesar and Museum of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, Florida was INCREDIBLE. It’s hard to explain just how much I loved this day. It was authentic and genuine and full of the best kind of emotion! Its only been 72 hours since the end of their wedding day and I am STILL trying to pick my jaw off of the floor. Everything was flawless – nothing ran off schedule – NO rain…which if you are local to the Tampa Bay Area, you know that for the last 2 weeks or so we have been having some crazy lightning and thunderstorms around 5-6pm everyday. The lightning was out there and so was the thunder and dark clouds, but the rain held off throughout the whole ceremony, and portraits and came down just as we were doing the introductions in the reception! Try and tell me the wedding angels were not on our side!
We started off the day out on St. Pete Beach at the Don Cesar Beach Suites (that I never knew existed, and now I am completely obsessed) and I was welcomed with the sweetest smiles from the best bridal party! They were so helpful and a wedding photographer cannot ask for anything more! Once they were all set and ready to go, we headed over to the main hotel (my first time there and I was in AWE) for bridal party photos and the grounds are AMAZING!
We were about 30 minutes out from the ceremony when these awful clouds came rolling in and thankfully it all held off till the reception so that Jimmy and Brittany could get married outdoors!!!! The reception was nothing short of a huge celebration with non stop dancing, celebrating the amazing love these two share!!!!
Brittany and Jimmy – I am so thankful you both chose me to be there to capture your Best Day Ever and I hope you have the absolute time of your lives in Tahiti!!!! xoxo
