The clouds were in and out with the perfect amount of blue sky for outside portraits. The amount of love outflowing from everyones eyes was undeniable. But the best of all was the tears that rolled down his face as he walked down the aisle to the moment he has been waiting for, his whole life.
Being asked by a family you have worked with in the past too photograph the wedding of their older daughter has got to be one of the best compliments a photographer can receive. It was like spending the day with old friends, thats how welcoming everyone at the Billingsley-Wallace wedding was! The entire wedding crew with Cross Creek Ranch was the best I have ever worked with!
Zach is currently serving our country and has been away for a little bit so the fact that we actually got to do an engagement session last December was such a blessing. And even more so, since mother nature decided to give us some REAL hot weather.
The ceremony was one of my favorite moments…OF ALL TIME. Photographers thrive on the creativity they can produce from a wedding day (aka, details, portrait time, etc). Ceremonies are less than “creative” as we are there to capture the moment, the feeling and the actual act of “tying the knot.” But this ceremony was full of THE MOST emotion I have ever experienced. There was not ONE person with a blank expression. This couple is loved WAY more than they could ever begin to grasp. And Micayla…GIRLLLLL you are one lucky bride because you had that man in tears since the ceremony music started and it was just the sweetest thing!!! BUT she didn’t crack….not until her dad gave his little talk at the reception.
I have never felt more honored to have witnessed such a beautiful wedding. Micayla and Zach, you two the definition of “match made in heaven.” The love yall have is that love people strive to find. I love you both and cannot wait to see how this new season unfolds for you both!!!
SERIOUSLY?!?! MY HEART MELTED, And then the smile when she was finally all the way down the aisle!
Huge thank you to these wonderful vendors for being SO awesome to work with!!!
