Davis Island Engagement Session

So lets start off with a little truth – most of my bride and grooms I never meet in person until their engagement session. Crazy right?? But Kelsea and Parker wanted to meet prior to coming on board into the #katiehauburgercouples family, and let me tell ya…its a bit scary! They are ultimately deciding if they LIKE you and want to spend their whole wedding journey together with you! It’s nerve-racking for anyone, especially one who is a people pleaser with a side of anxiety (aka me). But we hit it right off, and meeting and chatting with Kelsea, was like finding a new best friend! She is so sweet, we have SO much in common and she’s tiny like me (so already 156% cooler).

They wanted something with a dock or pier for their engagement session, so off to the best place possible for that – Davis Island!!! It had been showing above an 85% chance of rain for their session day but the clouds cleared out, but the wind surely didnt. A little bit of a blessing for a hot, Florida summer afternoon. We also found some gorgeous blooms that is SO rare in Florida!

Parker is so head over heels for his girl, and its such a beautiful thing to see and watch! I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding next May!!!!
