To my best friend

Carson, today you embark on the next chapter of your life. Moving 2 states away all by your self (and Cyrus) and starting grad school. I could never even begin to tell you how proud I am of you, how amazing of a human you are, and how much I will miss you! Helping you pack for the last week and a half was truly so hard. Trying to be a supportive friend, when I really just wanted to take all the stuff we were packing and put it back where it belongs (LOL). As sad as I am, never forget how excited I am for you as well, or how proud of you I am!

Thank you for always being there. Thank you for being there for all the heartbreak, and being my rock so I never hit the ground. Thank you for being there for all the big moments, and being at every graduation you could be at. Thank you for going to my senior prom with me to make sure I had the best night I could have had (imagine if you had not been there). Thank you for always standing off to the side of the stage for my solo’s because you knew how much I struggled going up there. Thank you for being the “low maintenance” kind of friend who understands when life gets busy and stayed close and in touch even when we didn’t see each other all the time. Thank you for always going to Abe’s with me, and introducing me to mimosa’s. Thank you for always giving me support and opinions. And all the other things, because it would take a life time to go through all the things from the past 17 years. (by the way I’m in total shock that its been 17 years right now).

You never really expect things to happen in life, just like you never expect meeting someone and them becoming your husband years later, I never knew you would become my forever friend. I would have never guessed 17 years ago that you would be the one best friend that would stay through it all. But I am SOOOO blessed and lucky that you were. I couldn’t imagine doing life without you.

I cannot wait to explore your new [temporary] home with you, Car.
Its a good thing you have a best friend who just loves to travel and go on road trips.

Pretty much, South Carolina doesn’t know how lucky it is. I LOVE YOU BESTFRIEND!!!! GO KICK SOME GRAD SCHOOL BUTT

(AND HERES TO THE FIRST BLOG POST YOU HAVE EVER READ OF MINE – LOL)
